Welcome

The aim of this meeting is to combine the inauguration of the large-scale, multi-user, multi-sensorimotor immersive Evolutive Virtual Environment (EVE system) recently installed at CNRS/LIMSI, with the animation of several VR/VE thematic workshops dedicated to EuroVR and AFRV [1] communities, with the support of CNRS [2] and DIGITEO [3] organisations. Attending to the meeting will provide you with the opportunity to experience the unique characteristics of the EVE system, while the proposed thematic workshops are an opportunity for EuroVR to get Special Interest Groups (SIGs) started.

EuroVR-EVE 2010 meeting is composed of 2 plenary sessions, 3 thematic V&AR workshops in parallel with 3 demo sessions. Four invited Keynote Speakers, and twelve speakers (half for long talks, the other half for short ones) have been solicited. Sessions will be lead by appointed chairmen, so as to animate discussions and initiate work on the possible topics of future SIGs. As a result, a first set of Special Interest Groups of EuroVR will be created.
